NIKON D5200: The D5200 borrows some advanced features from higher up the Nikon range

The D5200 has one of the highest-resolving sensors available, with a 24.1MP chip installed. Combined with Nikon's EXPEED 3 image processing engine provides a standard ISO range from 100-6400, and is extendable to an ISO equivalent of 25,600. The Nikon D5200 advances in other areas too. It uses the same Nikon Multi-CAM 4800DX autofocus sensor module that was first introduced into the Nikon D7000, incorporating a complex 39-point AF system that features nine cross-type sensors. Also, the D5200's 3D focus tracking capability shifts the focus point automatically to follow the movement of a subject in the frame, and is intuitive enough to forecast the position of the subject at the moment the image is captured.
