The J2 is the third model to join Nikon's unconventional 1 system, and stands as a minor upgrade to the camera that came before it, the Nikon J1. The changes to it are few and far between. In place of the J1's 3in 460k-dot LCD screen there's now a 921k-dot alternative, while the new Creative mode option provides access to a variety of filter effects, including all the key shooting modes you'd expect on an interchangeable-lens camera.
