The currently available systems for ensuring the quality of production require compulsory verification of the entire production equipment for accuracy and correspondence to the nominals. Special attention should be given to the parameters of equipment affecting the main characteristics of the quality of production. These main parameters include welding current and the compression force of electrodes of resistance welding machines. Therefore, there is a considerable demand for simple and reliable measuring devices which could be used to control the parameters of both new and existing resistance welding machines and carry out periodic verification of the systems that are in service. Moreover, it is also important to develop standard measuring devices for periodic calibration of these measuring devices.
