Devon moving ahead with plan to reuse water in western Oklahoma

Devon Energy Corp. has spent about three years developing a facility to allow reuse of water in its operations in western Oklahoma. More than three years of planning are coming to fruition. Crews installed storage tanks near Geary for the company's Cana reclamation program, which will enable the company to reuse much of the water needed for hydraulic fracturing operations in the gas- and liquids-rich Oklahoma shale play.
