New control with creative design for 4000kN drawing press

The industrial kitchen manufacturer Palux, based in Bad Mergentheim, experienced exactly the above mentioned scenarios. Unable to repair or replace the circuit board of a Rexroth Controller, which the hydraulic press required for manufacturing/drawing stainless steel plates, production came to a complete halt. The press concerned is a Hydrap press, Type HP-DZb400, built 1986. The mechanical condition of the press was faultless, the hydraulic components mostly in good condition. As the core of the production line stood still an urgent and economical solution was much needed. Bracker received the enquiry regarding the update of the controller on the 4th of January 2006. Due to specialising in retro fitting hydraulic presses, Bracker was able to submit a competitive offer, which Palux received only two weeks later. Despite fierce competition Bracker received the order on the 31st of January 2006. The next six weeks were scheduled for construction, procurement of parts and installing the electrical control unit. Installation and commissioning took place in the last two weeks of March 2006. The press started operating again on the 30th of March 2006.
