摘要

Activated carbon fiber (ACF) is a microporous carbonaceous adsorbent, which is developed from organic precursors either by physical activation or chemical activation [1]. Polyacrylonitrile (PAN)-based ACFs are amorphous graphitic carbon, consisting of sp~2 hexagonal carbon layers with different pore sizes ranging fro miropores to macropores. The adsortion properties results from their remarkable surafce and structural properties, which manifest themselves in high specific surace area and adsorption capacity. These in turn arise from the presence of a reasonable amount of micropores [2].
