Requirements for Precision Farming (PF) are efficient methods for evaluating soil-nutrition data in order to plot fertilizer application maps quickly and precisely. The potential suitability of fields for PF can be estimated from cumulative frequencycurves. From variograms the efficient distance as an optional minimum for interpolation (by Kriging) can be calculated, but often anisotrophy has to be considered. Evaluations for the subsoil fertility are made by analyses of crosswariograms which takeadvantage of correlations between top-and subsoil data.
