Over recent years there has been much debate both In the industry, and among politicians and the public over the relative merits of source separated and comingied recycling collections. On the one hand it is argued that comingied is easier to collect and encourages greater participation, on the other some argue that source separated produces higher quality materials. WMW asked some of the industry's key players for their views on the subject.
