The focal point for many tractor enthusiasts attending the Onslow Park Steam Engine Rally over the August Bank Holiday was the re enactment of the 1921 Shrewsbury Tractor Trials. The original trials took place just a few miles from Onslow Park at Shrawardine Castle and organiser Brian Smith had gathered together as many of the makes and models of tractors that took part as was possible, in some cases more than one example of each was present at Onslow. As with the original trials, entrants came from all parts of the UK and further afield, enthusiast Jeorg Mueller making the trip from the Black Forest in Germany with his 1924 Hart-Parr 30. Two tractors were unable to be run as they are still in the process of restoration but their appearance at Onslow added to the event.
