摘要

The changing cost situation and the staff reduction which it entails have dramatically changed the targets of power plant chemistry "2010". With regard to this development, the future scope of power plant chemistry can, by no means, be limited to the generation of chemical analyses. Power plant chemistry must, in fact, take over the role of a know-how centre and turn it into an "efficient" operation with the support of its technical staff. As a know-how centre, power plant chemistry will therefore, apart from traditional analytical tasks, take up activities such as the assessment/evaluation of processes. A prerequisite is therefore the professional and competent execution of chemical analyses combined with plant- and process-related skills and expertise (Figures 1 to 4).
