Temperature measurements have been carried out on original gas turbines in the capacity range of 10 to 40 MW. These investigations are necessary in order to make available established parameters for the differentiated evaluation of component lifein the high temperature range as well as during creep and thermal fatigue, i.e. during their interaction. This requires, on the one hand, the latest computation algorithms and, on the other hand, knowledge which is indispensable to the power stationoperator for the assessment of gas turbine operation. This, of course, proves true to a similar degree, for basic relationships in the emissions.
