摘要

In fluidized beds, damage occurs in the form of erosive material destruction by virtue of the high-solid material thicknesses and speeds. The paper introduces a model, by means of which the erosive destruction in relation to the materialproperties and flow parameters can be calculated. With these calculations, it has been possible to achieve a substantial reduction in deterioration in some heavily erosion affected areas of certain circulating fluidized bed combustion plants.
