THE SwissCut SW Wil engineers have developed a new method for the edge preparation of the company's carbide-tipped circular saw blades. The edge preparation of the carbide tooth is usually done using the wet-blasting process. A disadvantage of this method is that a precise reproducibility is not possible. A precise, constant volume flow cannot be adjustable with this method. In addition, an accurate jet nozzle setting for each carbide saw blade is not guaranteed, because the jet nozzle is moving during the process.
