CATalyst Council names top 10 cat-friendly cities for 2009

PHOENIX — The CATalyst Council named the top 10 cat-friendly cities at the recent annual AAHA meeting held here. The list was compiled after reviewing such data as per capita cat ownership and level of veterinary care, as well as microchipping in the top 25 standard metropolitan areas as defined zz:the US Census Bureau. In addition, cities received extra credit if the mayor owned a cat or there were local cat-friendly ordinances.
