With memories of last years soaring oil prices still fresh in our minds, despite the global current economic climate it seems clear that over time the trend will be for oil prices to continue to rising. The Energy Information Administration is predicting global energy demand will soar by 44% over the next two decades. This is bad news for the consumer and for most industries, but the rising oil price will make it more worthwhile to extract hydrocarbons at depth, which will benefit companies like Halliburton, Technip, Intec, Wellstream and many others.
