As I sit down to start writing the next article I often wonder whether anyone really does read them? I try to include interesting facts, support the text with photographs and look for new information that will catch the attention of the valve community. I am glad to report that the above current series has indeed caught the attention of several readers who have on occasions been kind enough to email their comments or suggestions on the topics covered (Slide I).
