National Fry Processing Trials Program Holds 3rd Annual Field Days In East Grand Forks, Minnesota

The National Fry Processing Trials (NFPT) program, a collaboration between fry processors, state potato organizations, breeding programs, potato researchers, and the United States Potato Board (USPB), held their third annual East Grand Forks Field Days, October 14-15, at the Northern Plains Potato Growers Association (NPPGA) offices and USDA/ARS storage facilities. Attending the meeting were 25 industry representatives from across the United States and Canada. Those in attendance included representatives from J.R. Simplot, McCain Foods, ConAgra Foods Lamb-Weston, Cavendish Farms, University of Wisconsin, University of Minnesota, North Dakota State University, USDA/ARS Aberdeen/Madi-son/Fargo/East Grand Forks, NPPGA, AIS Consulting and others.
