From boy seaman... to chief trading standards officer

When he was 13, Robert Grice joined the Sea Cadet Corps as a Boy Seaman and, until the age of 20, attended many naval training establishments to learn the art of seamanship. These included HMS Ganges, the famous R.N. Boy Seaman training establishment at Shotley, Ipswich, and HMS Raleigh, at Torpoint, Plymouth.
