Michelin refreshes maxi scooter range with two new tyres

Paris-based motorcycle exhibition Le Salon de la Moto played host to the global premiere of two new Michelin tyres aimed at a healthily-growing transportation segment. This pair of products is the Michelin Pilot Road 4 Scooter and Pilot Power 3 Scooter. The names have a familiar ring to them - the Pilot Road 4 and Pilot Power 3 respectively offer sport touring and sportbike street solutions in the French manufacturer's motorcycle tyre portfolio - however the qualifier 'Scooter' follows to avoid any confusion. Although the Pilot Road 4 Scooter and Pilot Power 3 Scooter share a name and tread pattern with their motorcycle segment counterparts, these are scooter tyres and thus quite different under the skin.
