'Moving from great to excellent' Triangle aiming to produce more tyres and market them more consistently around the world

IN THE SECOND HALF OF 2013, Triangle Group Co. Ltd made a veritable triumvirate of strategic decisions, announcing the construction of a new factory near its existing manufacturing base in Weihai, Shandong province; the appointment of a new global marketing head and the opening of a new international sales office in Shanghai's central business district. In November/Tyres & Accessories visited the new Shanghai office and met with the recently appointed global marketing vice president (Jenner Powell) as well as TYM International managing director Steve Eke (who has experienced what the recent growth at Triangle means first hand). A conference call with Triangle's senior vice-president, Lin Xiaobin, added further detail from within Triangle's leadership.
