Major Growth Plans at Point S Development: Considering options for 'fiercely competitive' UK market

Within a few short years Point S has managed to build up a Europe-wide network through which more than eleven million tyres are sold every year. While five years ago the company was already represented by nine national organisations and a total of 1,150 outlets, the 2006 opening of its new international headquarters, Point S Development, under French and German leadership (each holds 45 per cent of the corporate shares; the remaining ten per cent is in Spanish hands) triggered a massive growth spurt. This spurt continues unabated, comments Point S Developments international operations director Fabien Bouquet. Going further, in an interview with Tyres & Accessories, Point S Development managing director Jurgen Benz, who is also managing director of the German Point S organisation, hinted of future progress occurring in leaps and bounds.
