Spoiled for choice we are. Have a look around the farm and ag suppliers these days and you're faced with an almost bewildering array of machinery of all shapes, sizes and functions. It's not so very long ago that self-propelled and ride on mowers werean oddity and light machines iike the ubiquitous brushcutter were virtually unheard of. Now it's almost impossible not to think of them as standard issue items. And a good thing too. Who fancies the idea of mowing an acre or two with an 18 inch push mower, let alone doing around the edges with hand clippers of some sort.
