摘要

The principle of the simple genetic algorithm is briefly introduced and one of the genetic operators is improved in this paper. Finally, the improved genetic algorithm is used in the optimal design of a large-scale pre-stressed concrete U-shaped aqueduct. Calculation results show that the improved method is feasible and effective.
