Having worked in both the private and public sectors, I've learned that there are arborists who are in the business of caring for trees, and there are contractors who run a tree care business. One thing that contractors should be aware of with communities and municipal arborists who contract out their tree maintenance services is that they are looking for that arborist who is in the business of caring for trees. More than likely they will continue doing business with the arborist who is in the business of caring for trees and re-bid the contracts that have been awarded to contractors rurining a tree care business.
