The Turkish Hemapheresis Society (THS) was established in 2000. It had more than 100 members by the end of 2006. The society had its last general assembly and elections for the board in October 2006. New board members are as follows; President; Onder Arslan M.D. (Ankara), Vice President; Sema Anak M.D. (Istanbul), General Secretary; Fahir Ozkalemkas M.D. (Bursa), Treasurer; Osman 6zc-ebe (Ankara) and Deputies; Fevzi Altuntas, (Kayseri), Seckin Qagirgan M.D. (Izmir) and Birol Giivenc (Adana).
