For fairly obvious reasons, the average truck driver tends to harbor a solid appreciation for the tire tech. It's the tire service professional who braves the weather and the darkness or whatever nature throws out there and gets that driver back on the road after a tire-related mishap. But there are those professions whose members appreciate the tire guy even more than do truck drivers, and these are the people whom the tire guy shields from doing tire work in the first place. I am referring to truck mechanics.
