Knowing how to repair a tire is an important part of being in the tire business. Knowing what to repair and what not to repair is just as important. I see a lot of tires that are properly repaired, but some of these tires were in very poor condition for repair. A thorough inspection inside and outside is a critical part of quality tire repairing. Some technicians receiving a tire for repair make the mistake of believing that when they have found a leak and repair it, they have done their job.
