REPAIRING ENVELOPES

I see a considerable number of pre-cure envelopes that are thrown into the scrap heap when most could be easily repaired. Most punctures in envelopes or splits in the skirt can be repaired with simple tools. Generally, splits up to four inches in length and punctures up to one inch in diameter are the maximum that are repairable. However, if the envelope is fairly new and in otherwise good condition, a larger injury can be repaired.
