摘要

In this paper an analytical model is introduced, which estimates the stresses in the region of a joint of a spliced laminate under tensile action. The model considers three effects: (i) load redistribution due to the different stiffness of the base material and the interlayer material using the slip equation; (ii) lateral bending as a consequence of the eccentricity of the residual force by bending of a sandwich element; (iii) consideration of local effects by means of local bending. In the last part of this paper the predictions obtained with the analytical model are compared to FE simulations and laboratory tests. The comparison shows that the analytical model provide results, which are in good agreement with the results from FE simulations and laboratory tests. The model here presented considers a fivefold laminate but can be adapted to other configurations.
