摘要

The Cp_2Ti~(IV)-salicylate system has been re-examined and procedures for the syntheses of [Cp_2Ti(salTi(salH)_2] and [C-_2Ti(sal)]explored,[salH=O_2CC_6H_4OH-2)~-;sal=(O_2CC_6H_4O-2)~(2-)].The new 3,5-di-t-butylsalicylate analogues have been prepared and characterised.An Xpray structure determinationof [Cp_2Ti(sal)]confirms the chelating nature of thesal ligand which is bonded to the metalthrough the phenolic andone of the carboxylate oxygen atoms.
