Eternal Chemical Co. Ltd., Kaohsiung, Taiwan, manufactures more than 180,000 metric tons per year (mty) of resin. Because the company exports a large portion of its product to other Asian countries, it needed to increase its capacity and upgrade its operations to compete in the market. The plant's problems included long batch times and high raw material consumption rates. Eternal saw both batch times and consumption rates drop after the implementation of two production trains from RHE Handel Engineering GmbH.
