Metals industry and deregulated electricity market: experience from Sweden

Two years' experience of a deregulated electricity market can not be reviewed. Are there any winners or losers? Has the metals industry been able to derive any benefit and reduce costs? This paper describes experience from Vattenfall, the largest power company in the Scandinavian electricity market.
