Engel Icebox

You need plenty of cool liquid refreshment if want to fish the best part of the tropical fishing season. Dick Eussen reckons the Engel Icebox is the answer. When I go fishing or head bush for a camping/fishing trip I take my 10-year-old 60 litre Engelfridge for keeping perishable foods cool. The fridge runs on two 4WD 12 V batteries. I use a marine grade manual isolator switch that can be set on'#1 or #2 battery, or both. It is set on both for normal use, but in the bush I isolated one battery to ensure that I have a charged battery to start the engine with.
