Fishing the washes

Why fish love the wash areas around headlands and islands is because these allow them to feed on bits of oyster, cunjevoi, and crabs that are washed off ledges and into the water. And for the fisherman it's a great place to fish, especially on days when the ocean waters are clear and calm. In fact, at these times the washes might be the only place where you will score a good quality fish. However, fishing around the washes isn't for the faint-hearted. There are a few rules, which every angler shouldfollow. The first is to watch the wave action BEFORE getting in close. Try to stay back within casting distance so your boat is not in danger from the in-going, or out-coming waves. The second most important rule is having a reliable motor. Since much ofthis fishing is done by being on the move you need a very reliable ngine.
