SPE award for BMW glove box cover with TPE soft touch

A glove box cover from BMW Group was awarded the Grand Innovation Award in the category ‘body interior’ of the Automotive Division Awards of the Society of Plastics Engineers Central Europe. The award was presented during a ceremony in Neuss, Germany, on 17 October 2016. Thermoplastic elastomers give the cover a premium soft haptics. The part is manufactured in thin-film technology that results in a high quality soft touch surface.
