INTRODUCTION OF VARIOUS TYPES OF ELECTROEROSION METHODS AND SUBSEQUENT EXPANSION OF THEIR APPLICATIONS AT ENTERPRISES IN TULA

摘要

This article gives data and information on use of electroerosive technologies at enterprises in Tula. At the same time, the authors comment on scientific and engineering trends and areas of concentration in electroerosive technology, characterizing both its shaping and hardening aspects, as well as combinations based on it. The data given in this paper make it possible to obtain information about the opportunities afforded by electroerosive shaping and hardening methods, as well as combined approaches directed not just at achieving required macro- and microgeometric parameters but also employed as hardening procedures that permit improvement of machine part reliability and service life.
