Production scale-down at East St Louis plant

Elementis has announced that following a pigments manufacturing restructuring review,it will scale down production at its Elementis Pigments production plant in East St Louis,Illinois,US,with immediate effect.Around 100 jobs will be affected.Some limited production will continue at the 522,200 square foot facility,and the head office of Elementis Pigments will also remain at the adjacent location.Production activities for certain pigments will be increased at pigments facilities around the globe involved in similar operations,including the new world-scale manufacturing facility at TaiCang,China.
