DOW TO BUILD GLYCOL ETHERS PLANT IN CHINA

The Dow Chemical Company,a leading producer of glycol ethers,has announced that it will proceed with construction of a new propylene oxide-based glycol ethers facility at Zhangjiagang,Jiangsu Province,the People's Republic of China.This state-of-the-art facility is scheduled to come on line in late 2008,with an annual nameplate capacity of 120,000 metric tons.
