Emerald Kalama to increase capacity for K-FLEX non-phthalate plasticizers and coalescents

On the heels of a two-day ribbon cutting event to inaugurate its newly expanded facility in Kalama, WA (USA), Emerald Kalama Chemical - a business group of Emerald Performance Materials - has announced further plans to increase capacity for its K-FLEX non-phthalate plasticizers and coalescents. The company has already doubled its US capacity for the K-FLEX line at its Kalama facility since 2011 and will dedicate an additional reactor for production and R&D this fall to accommodate needs for increased manufacturing and product development.
