JULY MEETING

One of the more important functions of a SCAA Section is the organisation of Monthly Technical Meetings.These meet with varying success,due no doubt to the quality of the speaker and the relevance of the topic,but they also live or die by the number of members who turn up.Most members will be guided by the aforementioned"speaker and topic"rule,but some are keen to see the meetings succeed even when those facets are not necessarily at their peak.At the commencement of the WA Section July meeting,Chairman Colin Shilkin made a small presentation to two members whose attendance record over the past 12 months(a little more,really,since it covered 11 meetings)was outstanding.Nola Burns and Andrew Peek have been at all of those meetings,come hell,high water,the peak of summer or the depths of winter and the WA Section is grateful for their continued support.
