摘要

In order to calculate the complex arc plasma combined thermal flow dynamics with electromagnetics, we firstly should define the governing equations on these fields and interface them with multidisciplinary simulation techniques, which include thermal flow and electromagnetic fields simultaneously. Through the processes it is very important to make appropriate models on turbulence, radiation, ablation etc. for this type of interruption technique. Also, the study of geometric effects (i.e., nozzle shape) is needed to optimize for the better performance of interruption and compact and environmental-friendly gas circuit breakers.
