At a time when the world was testing the tepid waters of China; Dr Ravin Jhunjhunwala, Chairman of Orind and the management of Orind India had looked over the Great Wall to begin a journey of success. Incorporated on 18th August 1994 with an initial investment of USD 5 million, ORL caters to the ever-demanding needs of the steel industry and beyond. Incidentally Orind was the first wholly owned Indian company to set up a base in China. Presently, Orind China has a 611 strong work force including 23 expatriates.
