摘要

A theoretical model is developed to study the hydrostatic mechanism of the WTD seal in this paper. The influences of structure parameters on the seal performance are studied under different rotor speed and sealed pressure. The results show that the existence of waves will impair the hydrostatic effect in the radial direction and promote the hydrostatic effect in the circumferential direction. The taper β_1 will dominate the performance of the WTD seal under the stable working condition when there is no cavitation occurs.
