摘要

Human perception, whether of light-filled spaces or natural phenomena, plays an essential part in Olafur Eliasson's works of art. In 2003-2004 his installation "The Weather Project" at the Tate Modern in London attracted worldwide attention. Over twomillion visitors saw the misty sun in the Turbine Hall. Though it is thus the best known, it is only one of many projects in which he challenges the viewer's senses. The Danish-Icelandic artist calls his works "experimental setups". His studio in Berlin, with co-workers in all different disciplines, is a kind of experimental laboratory. Sandra Hofmeister talked with Olafur Eliasson about the perception of light spaces.
