Expansion in Refinery of Luoyang Petrochemical Co Ltd

According to the information recently released by SINOPEC,the crude oil processing capacity in Luoyang Petrochemical Co Ltd will increase by 60% to reach 8.0 million t/a in 2006.SINOPEC plans to expand the capacity of several refineries to meet the increasing demand of oil products in the domestic market.The Refinery of Luoyang Petrochemical Co Ltd is included in the plan.The project has been submitted to the central government authorities and will soon be approved.The expansion will start from next year and be completed in 2006.
