This month, the long-awaited and much-talked about Anti-Dumping Duty provision was formally introduced into EU regulations. First instigated in 2009 by the European Ceramic Tile Manufacturers' Federation (CET), which represented over 30% of manufacturers operating with the EU, the measure has been introduced to prevent Chinese manufacturers from exporting tile products into the EU without paying a levied tax - sometimes as high as 73%.
