KENMARE: Share Price Falls in H2 2014

When Kenmare rebuffed Iluka's takeover proposals in late June 2014, its share price was fluctuating within the range ￡stg 0.15-0.17. This was a far cry from the ￡stg 0.615 peak attained in February 2012, when Rio Tinto was rumoured to be considering a bid for Kenmare at ￡stg 0.65-0.72 per share. During the past six months, Kenmare's share price has steadily fallen and it was below the ￡stg 0.04 mark for most of December.
