SLOVENIA:Cinkarna Defers 20,000 tp.a.Pigment Expansion to Next Year

Cinkarna Metallurgical & Chemical Industry Celje Inc.has deferred completion of its project to step up the capacity of its TiO_2 pigment plant at Celje to Ql 2005.Originally,the expansion was due to be completed during the second half of 2004.(See also TiO_2 Worldwide Update,Sep/Dec 2003,page 16).Budgeted investment in the project has increased from euros 65 million to euros 80 million.The expansion is designed to raise TiO_2 pigment capacity here from 40,000 t.p.a.to 60,000 t.p.a.
