Western Australia remained the major contributor to earnings in H1 2007,accounting for 68% of the group's earnings before interest and tax (EBIT).Consolidated Rutile's operations on North Stradbroke Island (Queensland,Eastern Australia) contributed 14% and the US activities (mainly in Virginia) contributed 13%.The Murray Basin operations,which have only just begun making a contribution,accounted for 4.5% ofEBIT in H1 2007.
