The company has embraced Six Sigma methodology to constantly improve its operational performance.Thanks to the use of Six Sigma techniques,the company reduced energy costs at one plant by US 800,000 per annum last year.At another plant,the company improved production yields and thereby decreased "costs of goods sold" by US 1.5 million,Targetting uptime with Six Sigma recently enabled one of the company's plants to increase production by 2000 t.p.a.,essentially via a simple reconfiguration of processing equipment.
